Epik High not only writes good songs but also meaningful lyrics. And that's why I love Epik High ssoooo much! They are so talented. They rock!!! \(>v<)/ Actually I wanted to show you some lyrics of their famous songs first but I just came across this song this morning and I decided to start with this instead. (I've been listening for the whole morning.) It is not as well-known as songs like Fly, Fan etc but I like the song very much when I first listened it.
Check out on the lyrics! I think it's something to do with prostitution? This guy really loves her and wanna protect her...
Anyway, another plus point is that DJ Tukutz finally participated in the singing too! And who says he can't sing? He has a sexy voice yea~ ^^
Tablo composed the song. He and Mithra wrote the lyrics. Their lyrics are poetic and sometimes really give me goosebumps. Don't forget, Tablo studied English literature in Stanford University. Haheho! I really like the very beginning part when Tablo starts to sing. And then as they go into the rap, focus on the lyrics. The part whereby a girl is singing creates a rather sad atmosphere. Then it's Tukutz, his part sounds 'echoey','floaty' (haheho... I don't know how to describe!) and far. It keeps repeating in my mind even after the song ends. Tablo takes the soft part, Mithra handles the hard/rapping part and Tukutz's part gives me a struggling feeling. They made a really good team.
