Epik High was relatively unknown to Koreans in the beginning of its career due to hip-hop music's lack of popularity in Korea. Their success began with the release of their second album, titled "High Society". Upon the success of their third album, "Swan Songs", released in late 2005, Epik High has become one of the most popular hip-hop figures in Korea. "Fly", the title song, and "Paris" (feat. Jisun from Loveholic) from their third album became hits in Korea, reaching number one on many Korean music channels as well as on online music charts.[1] "Fly" was also chosen for the video game FIFA 07. Epik High's fourth album, "Remapping the Human Soul", released in January 23, 2007 has shown a very different music style from their previous albums. "Fan", the fourth album's title song, and "Love Love Love" have been big hits in 2007.

Their music has been known to be a “lyrical piece of literature” and “urban poetry”, lyric orientated, soulful and often witty while addressing serious social issues such as identity, discrimination, community, unity and change as a whole.

I love this song's rap. Pat LOVES the first six seconds of the MV. Haheho... She thinks Tablo & Mithra looks cute in it (with their actions)... Then, she thinks that the part from 0:57 to 1:10 sounds like 郭美美's "不怕不怕". Haha! Do you think so too? Xl never expect the chorus to be like that when she first listened to the song.

Daniel Armand Lee (born July 22, 1980), more commonly known by the stage name Tablo (Hangul: 타블로), is a Korean hip hop musician, rap artist, songwriter and lyricist. He is best known as the rapper and leader of the South Korean hip hop group Epik High. Tablo produces almost all the songs of Epik High with DJ Tukutz, and writes the lyrics with Mithra Jin. He has also produced and featured on many songs in South Korea. His work incorporates numerous musical styles, ranging from hip hop, to electronic music such as trance, trip hop, as well as rock.[1]
Aside from the Epik High, he has collaborated with several artists, in group projects such as Eternal Morning and Anyband. Tablo has also made forays into acting, appearing in some TV dramas and films such as Nonstop 5 (2005), Fantastic Parasuicides (2007), and High Kick! (2007), August Rush (2007), Parkjunggum (2008) as a cameo. Tablo is the DJ for MBC FM4U's Tablo's Dreaming Radio,[2]
