Let's Learn Korean---Reading Hangul

안녕하십니까? [How are you?]

Do you like korean songs?
Have you been wishing to learn to sing the song just by looking at the hangul instead of the romanized form (which sometimes doesn't sound as correctly as what you've heard from the song)?

Actually, it's very easy to learn.

Each 'alphabet' of hangul has a specific sound and korean words are formed by a few alphabets. You just need to combine their sounds together in order to get the pronouncation of the word. Confused?

Eg, ㅅ(s) + ㅏ(a) + ㄴ(n) = 산 san

ㅁ(m) + ㅜ(u) ㄴ(n) = 문 mun

It's really useful as you can listen to each of the 'alphabets' sounds clearly.
After you have mastered this, you are ready to read hangul by yourself. Although it may take some effort to memorise the sounds for each 'alphabet' (it took me ard 3 days) but you will really feel the satisfaction when you can smoothly read out hangul by yourself. Now, I can easily read out hangul without much thoughts (though not an expert yet)! ^^
